Class Policies

Classes must be paid for at the time of registration. You will not have a place in a class until you are registered with your payment. Class sizes are limited, so don't wait to register.

Our classes are "fragrance free", please do not wear any kind of perfume or lotion that has an odor to it. We have customers with allergies and asthma. Thank you for your cooperation.

Class Cancellations

If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund or a credit applied to another class as you wish.

January & February Classes

Sat. Jan. 9th 9:00- 12:00 with Doris
Preferred Customer Club "Just for Fun"

There is no charge for this class, but you must sign up for it so we know how many people to expect.
This Club is held every 2nd Saturday of the month, there will be a demo or small workshop on something, demos and gifts. Be sure to bring in your show n tell to get your name into a drawing for a gift certificate. Doris has door prizes each month, a discount card for members and it's just for fun!!
In the Jan. Club meeting, Judy Pierce will be doing a demo on finishing your quilt - borders and bindings. Includes bias binding. This is a great class, don't miss it.

Thurs., Jan. 14th Free Motion Quilting
with Paulette 5-6:30 $10 MIN. 6
Paulette will teach you how to do meandering and other free motion quilting with you using your own machine. You will need a free motion foot for your machine for this class.
Supply fee: $3.

Sat. Jan. 16th 9-3 Mystery Grab Bag Quilt
With Katie Valentine $20
MINIMUM 10 PEOPLE FOR CLASS

Now here is a fun class! Katie did this class for the core group, we had a blast! This is a beautiful quilt, so get your instructions, cut up your squares, bring your brown paper bag and a lunch and be ready for a fun filled day! It's a mystery, so no picture!! You will be charged for a pattern at the time of registration, but you won't get your pattern until class.

Class is a 3 week class $35 Dianne

This fun quilt is a Log Cabin variation. It is an optical illusion , made with strips, sewn in squares and looks like waves!

You can make a traditionl log cabin quilt in this class if you prefer.

This is our last class, we will be working on borders and learning how to square up our quilts!

Sat. Jan 23rd 10 - 4 "Charmed Table Runner"
With Doris $10 MIN. 3 people
Doris will teach you how to make this table runner doing quilt as you go. You will do the back at the same time as you do the front! So when you are done, you are done! Picture to follow soon.

Monday, Jan 25, Feb 1, 8, 15 5-7
"Beginners Quilting" 4 week class $35
In this class you will learn the basics of quilting.
Rotary cutting, 1/4" seam, squaring up and about your machines. We will make a simple rail fence quilt.

"Simply Squares" with Judy P.
2 week class $20
Sat. Feb. 6th & 20th 1-3

This is a really fun class! Sew your squares toget her one week and the next week Judy will show you how to cut them all up to make this beautiful quilt that ends up "on point".
