NEW FOR THURSDAY NIGHT!
We have had some requests for something fun to do on Thursday nights, here is what we came up with!
2 really fun games!
1. Left, Right, Center
Bring 7; 2-1/2"X width of fabric Batik strips (bring as many as you want to play more than one game) and meet in the Lobby at 7PM. 1 or more gals (depending on how many come to play) will end up with these strips to make a quilt!
2. Mexican Train - Dominos
Bring some fat quarters and we will have some fun! Win a game and the fat quarters are yours!

Block Exchange – Mary Bacon - "Falling Leaves"

You will need 4 fat quarters with a fall design, dark to light

For every 20 blocks that are turned in, there will be a drawing! Some lucky person will win all 20! Last camp there were 8 full drawings, and th 9th with 12 blocks, that means 172 blocks were made! WOW!!

New this year to camp - "Beads of Courage"

Amanda Nelson will be leading this new venture.   We will make "bead bags" to donate to this organization.  This organization is a support and encouragement system for children with serious illness; cancer, blood disorders, cardiac and burn patients.  A great cause!  Amanda will have more information at camp and instructions on making the bags.

Mystery Quilt - Becky Marshall           

"Worms and Jelly Rolls" 50 1/8" X 61 1/2" This looks like it will be a fun quilt! We will be making the smaller size 50 1/8" X 61 1/2" You can order this as a kit, you will need to let us know exactly what you want for colors. If you have a jelly roll and home you haven't figured out what to do with it, this might be your answer. The fabric requirements ask for 12 light and 12 dark 2 1/2" strips. We picked out 1/6 of a yard of 6 dark fabrics and then cut our 2 1/2" strips. We used all the same light for our background.   Kit is $69.95   Click here for your fabric requirements and your cutting instructions that you will want to have done before camp. "Picture Bag" with Becky Marshall

A fun bag! bring a picture or 2 for your bag, Becky will have a pattern for you and will do your pictures for you! You will need: 1/2 yard lining 1/2 yard back, strap For around the picture: (2) 2 1/2" strips (2) 1 1/2" strips (2) 2" strips 6 X 8 photo At least 1 sheet of picture transfer paper   We can kit this for you!

"Purse with Interchangable Handle" Class
with Sue Anderson

What a great idea! Make as many purse bottoms as you want and you only need one handle! 3 FQs, a FQ of fusible fleece, a little TimTex and one handle and you are all set!   We can kit this for you!

"Zig Zag Table Runner" with Charlotte Porter

Fun and easy to do, make a new table runner for fall or Christmas.   Makes a wonderful Christmas gift!   We can kit this for you.

"Getting out of your BOX!" with Katie Valentine

Ever wanted to design your own block?? Now's your chance. Katie will help you get started on this fun project! You will need for this class: 3 fat quarters 1 light, 1 medium, 1 dark and bring your favorite rulers A sharp pencil, or mechanical pencil, some colored pencils and a good eraser We will have graph paper for you.   Katie did this class for the Core Group last spring, this is the block I designed! It was really fun!     It turned into the MN Shop Hop quilt for our shop

"Lil' Twister" with JoHannah Orman

Get a new "Twist" on your quilting. Make this really fun Table Topper while you are at camp.

"Exhange Block" Class with Mary Bacon

These are the fabrics that Mary picked for her blocks.   You will get 4 complete blocks from each set of 4 FQs.   We can kit this for you!

"Gift Bag" Demo with Linda Servis

Really fun and simple! Great gift bag, fill it up with goodies and give it to your secret sister!! You will need: 2 FQs 18" square of fusible fleece We can kit this for you!

Another fun surprise! You will find the fabric for this project in your goody bag when you get to camp!    

"Beads of Courage" - Amanda Nelson

Amanda will show you the bags for Beads of Courage. the gals really made a lot of these bags at the Srping camp!

  Power Cutting – Dianne
This is a basic rotary cutting class.  Learn the accurate technique of  rotary cutting using  Deb Caffrey's technique called "Power Cutting. A good refresher course.

• Finish That Quilt - Borders and Binding and Bias Binding –Judy P. 
  This class is a must for anyone that wants to learn the correct way to do your borders and how to make a "no lump binding" for your quilts or other projects that you have completed.
